The staff was very friendly. We got a nice room with city views. Most importantly, the hotel is located in such a convenient location. It is only a 4 min walk to Kyoto station with the JR line, metro lines and several busses. The breakfast was nice, but not great in terms of Western elements like bread. They did have pasties and matcha bread, which were nice. The public bath was definitely a nice plus, as well as the laundry machines. The room is small, so you can’t open a big luggage fully, but we managed. And they really used the space well, as there is a little table you can move around and plugs built into the sofa. They also had free drinks most of the day. I would stay here again. Thank you for the great stay.
