I chose this property because of its excellent location and high rating, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.
The apartment is located inside a shopping mall, which is convenient, but it is quite old and has a strong musty smell that makes it feel dirty. The furniture and overall condition show significant wear and lack of maintenance.
The bedding was particularly disappointing. The sheets were worn out and stained, and the carpets throughout the apartment were also heavily stained and looked very dirty. Even the tables were covered with poorly cut plastic tablecloths, giving the apartment a cheap and neglected appearance.
Considering the condition of the property, I believe it should be rated as a 2-star accommodation rather than what is advertised. It is also significantly overpriced compared to well-known hotel brands in the same area that offer much higher standards for a similar or even lower price.
Another unpleasant surprise was being required to leave a US$100 cash deposit at check-in, which was not what I expected.
I later realized that the property's high overall rating comes from external review sources rather than Expedia guests, as there were no previous Expedia reviews when I booked.
Overall, I would not recommend staying here. Unless the property undergoes major renovations, I don't think it offers good value for money. In my opinion, a fair price would be no more than US$40 per night.
