The Space:

Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21 is a 150 m² apartment on the second floor of a complex right on Bonaire's west coast.



The apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 each feature a king-size bed, while bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The open-plan kitchen flows into the spacious living area and is equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and kettle. Outside, a balcony with ocean views offers a front-row seat to the sunsets. The complex also has a shared garden and a shared swimming pool. Free on-site parking is included.

Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21 is approximately 350 meters from Good and More supermarket, 750 meters from Dive Friends Delfins dive center, 1.2 kilometers from Playa Esmeralda (Ocean Oasis), 8.4 kilometers from Lac Bay (windsurfing) and 750 meters from Brass Boer restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: Make sure to visit 1000 Steps, one of Bonaire's most iconic dive and snorkel sites. Despite the name, you'll only descend around 67 steps to the water. Once underwater, a stunning coral reef awaits, with an impressive wall that drops steeply into the deep blue. The reef is known for its rich marine life, including colorful reef fish, sea turtles, and the occasional large tarpon. The site is accessible for both snorkelers and divers and is just a short drive from Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Belmar Oceanfront Apartment 21 is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
