"We just got home from Kefalonia and a great week staying at Oskars! Our studio apartment was lovely and comfortable with a great view. The family were very friendly and welcoming, and the three brothers Makis, Costas and Yiannis went out of their way to make our stay comfortable - thanks guys! "What an amazing little hotel. Hotel Europe sits up above Argostoli just 10mins walk from the square. It is up quite a hill, but its definitely worth the walk when you see the view from your balcony! Maria on Reception is so lovely. She emailed instructions beforehand on how to get into our room as we were on a late flight in and arranged for us to stay in our room till late as we had a late flight leaving. "nice hotel in a quiet beach area away from the port, although conveniently walkable along the seafront path. Please note I was upgraded to a room in the hotel rather than the room I booked so this is not a review of the basic garden room. This hotel did try to get credit card details from me "for security" despite having paid in full, in advance, but to their credit when I challenged it they did back down."
