Cassovia City Park Residence

After a day exploring Košice, come home to a room to unwind: settle by the fireplace, share dinner together, then head up to your private roof terrace for a soak in the Jacuzzi.

Space to spread out
110 m² of loft living under large roof windows, plus a private roof terrace of about 30 m². The lounge is raised one step and has the working fireplace; the dining area, with a table that seats six, is open-plan to the fully equipped kitchen: induction and gas hob, full-sized oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a breakfast bar with 2 stools.

Sleeping
• Bedroom 1: king bed with Tempur mattress, walk-in wardrobe, a large French window and a compact en-suite (corner bath, WC, basin)
• Bedroom 2: one queen bed under a skylight
• Living room: 140 cm double sofa bed, ideal for children or a couple
• Up to 6 guests: best for 5 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children
• Baby travel cot on request, so a toddler can sleep in the parents' bedroom
Both bedrooms have blackout curtains, air conditioning and wall heaters. All windows are triple-glazed (the roof windows double-glazed), so the bedrooms are quiet, cosy in winter and cool in summer, and mosquito nets let you sleep with the windows open.

Bathrooms and laundry
An en-suite with a corner bath off the master bedroom, plus a second bathroom with a glass shower and a washing machine, both with underfloor heating. A tumble dryer is available on request (it's in the cellar, where we dry the guest linen, and we're happy to give you access). Iron and ironing board. Towels, bed linen and basic toiletries are provided.

Work
A dedicated desk with an external monitor and HDMI cable, on Antik fibre internet at 1000 Mbit/s. Wi-Fi covers the whole apartment.

The rooftop
Two flights of stairs up is your private roof terrace (about 30 m²): a Jacuzzi, a Weber gas BBQ, a patio heater and lounge seating under the pergola. At the top of the stairs, by the terrace door, there's a small kitchenette with a sink – handy for BBQ prep.

For families
High chair, kids' dining set, toys and games, a toilet seat adapter, a travel cot on request and closable safety nets on the stairs.

On a summer evening, light the BBQ, pour a glass of Tokaj from just down the road and watch the sun set over the rooftops, then sink into the warm Jacuzzi as the city lights come on. On cooler nights, the patio heater keeps the terrace cosy, and the fireplace is waiting for you downstairs.

The entrance of the building is from Svätoplukova street. Smokers’ area is located in the courtyard and on the upper floor patio (seated area available). All other areas are strictly non-smoking.

Cassovia City Park Residence sits on Svätoplukova, a quiet residential street right beside Košice City Park, on the calm edge of the city centre: close to everything, yet away from the nightlife noise.

The park is literally on the doorstep, with tree-lined paths, 7–15 km running routes, modern playgrounds and free sports facilities (a Playko court and a street workout area). Tennis is 2–5 minutes away at Villa Sandy City Park Resort, with 6 courts. In summer (June–September), two municipal pool complexes with 7 pools between them, Rumanová and Červená hviezda, are a 2–8 minute walk, including children's pools with slides. All year round, NOC Košice, with a 50 m Olympic pool and the Košický wellness spa (saunas, whirlpools and a cold plunge pool), is about 1 km away.

The Old Town starts about 5 minutes away on foot. In around 10 minutes you reach Hlavná, the main promenade, with St Elisabeth Cathedral, the Singing Fountain, cafés and restaurants. For an evening out, Kováčska Street, a popular bar street running parallel to Hlavná and home to a jazz club, is about 8 minutes away. Walk 15 minutes across the park to reach Aupark, the city's main shopping centre, while everyday shops, restaurants and pubs are all within walking distance.

Getting around is easy. The main railway station, with direct trains to Bratislava, Prague and Budapest, is a short walk away. A bus stop with lines 17 and 19 is just 50 m from the door, and Košice International Airport is about 6 km away. Free dedicated parking is directly in front of the building.

Please note: this is a residential neighbourhood, and neighbours live here year-round. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM in the apartment and on the roof terrace.

Košice is best explored on foot. The Old Town is about 5 minutes away, Hlavná street around 10 minutes, the Kováčska bar street about 8 minutes, and the Aupark shopping centre a 15-minute walk across the park. A bus stop with lines 17 and 19 is just 50 m from the door. The main railway station is a 6-minute walk, with direct trains to Bratislava, Prague and Budapest. Košice International Airport is about 6 km away, roughly a 15-minute drive by taxi or Bolt. Travelling by car? Free parking is right in front of the building.

• Stairs: two flights up to the apartment and two more to the roof terrace, with no lift. Stairs have closable safety nets for little ones.
• The Jacuzzi heats to about 40 °C – a warm, relaxing soak rather than a very hot one. Please keep an eye on children on the terrace.
• There's no microwave; the kitchen has a full-sized oven and an induction and gas cooktop.
• Well-behaved pets are welcome on request: please message us before booking so we can approve your pet; a pet fee applies.
• No smoking inside – strictly enforced, with a significant penalty. Smoking only on the roof terrace or in the courtyard, considerately.
• Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm.
• No parties or events; up to 6 guests.
• Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:00.
