"Very friendly stuff. Hotel is quite new, very nice built, everyone has his privacy, the beach is beautiful, sun beds are big, and included. Only downside is breakfast - small choice of western kind of meals, if someone can not eat local food in morning."

"Das Hotel ist völlig heruntergekommen. Überall ist Grafitti. Die Zimmer waren sicherlich vor 20 Jahren schön, leider wurde seitdem nichts aber auch garnichts gemacht. Wir waren in 2 verschiedenen Zimmern und überall das gleiche Bild- völlig verschlissen. Wenn man einen 2 Sterne Bungalow am Strand buchen würde und dafür 40 USD pro Nacht bezahlt, dann wäre das OK... aber wenn man eines der teuersten Hotels auf der kleinen Insel bucht, welches sich je nach Website als 3,5 oder 4 Sterne Haus bezeichnet dann ist das nicht aktzepabel. Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt nur nach Aufforderung und sehr sehr oberflächlich.. Das Frühstück ist ordentlich. Das Personal ist landestypisch sehr freundlich. Aus Mangel an Alternativen über Weihnachten sind wir geblieben, hätten wir gekonnt , wären wir umgezogen. Nach Aussagen von Einheimischen ist das Hotel eigentlich von Regierungsseite geschlossen, da der Strand neu erschlossen werden soll und wird von Einheimischen illegal betrieben."

"Für mich waren 2 Nächte am Sunset Beach völlig ausreichend, dort hat man das echte "Jungle Feeling", abseits von Parties und Chaos. Leider hatte ich Pech mit dem Wetter, es gab Regen und der Wind war stark, sodass es keinen Sonnenuntergang gab, und Snorkelling war leider auch nicht möglich. Ansonsten ist der Weg dahin ziemlich hart, am.Besten so wenig Gepäck wie möglich mitnehmen (ein Koffer kann man auf keinen Fall.dahin schleppen). Leider gab es gerade eine Baustelle neben meinem Bungalow (es werden neue Bungalows gebaut), sodass es von 7:30 bis 18:00 Uhr nur Lärm gab. Entspannen konnte ich hier leider nicht. Die Bungalows sind basic und haben viele offene Stellen, sodass mit vielen Insekten im Zimmer zu rechnen ist. Von allen 4 Resorts am Sunset Beach ist Robinson allerdings bereits das Beste. Für Snorkelling würde ich lieber Lazy Beach empfehlen, dort gibt es Koralle und bunter Fisch und der Weg dorthin ist viel einfacher."

"I stayed in the room on the pier with a nice view, but I would not suggest non-Cambodian people to stay at this hotel. Only one person speaks a little bit of English, the service is very poor and nobody is around if you need help, no help with carrying the luggage, room cleaning only if you insist. There is only cold water (no hot shower), the fridge did not work, in the room I had lots of insects (ants, cockroaches, mosquitos). There are big groups of Cambodian people staying here and making lots of noise, they bring their own food and BBQ. In the evening, I had to walk 20 minutes on the dark beach with barking dogs to the other resorts to get some food, only breakfast is included in the room price (you can choose between eggs, fried noodles or pancake/fruits). Please note that there are big construction works going on on this part of the island, almost all nearby resorts have been closed down or had to move, now big roads and resorts are being built and there is lots of noise due to construction works. I chose this resort because it was on the pier and easy to reach with Island Speed Ferry Cambodia, and this is the only good thing about it. However, for this price you can get a nice bungalow at nicer resorts with English speaking staff, who will be glad to pick you up.at the pier and bring you to their resorts by boat or tractor."
