"We had reserved an apartment since we wanted an extra room with a separate sitting area. Unfortunately, it was hot and an air conditioning unit in the sitting room was out of service. Immediately, hotel staff offered us to switch for two adjacent bedrooms with an additional bed, but no sitting arrangement. Also they said that they will call a repairman to fix the problem. "The pictures looked great. The initial booking went fine. The next day the person representing themselves as the owner texted me and said the unit was not available and should not have been on VRBO. He said he would refund but rather than refund, he billed me a second time. I can't really say if it was an honest mistake or an attempt to take my money.
