Unfortunately voices were audible through the walls on one side of the room as were music and footsteps from the dinng area below but otherwise I was satisfield with the accommodation. Having an on-site restaurant was a handy option for the first night although I did venture out on my second evening for tea at a local restaurant. „We wanted an overnight stay on our way to the Lake District and found a perfect gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived we were cared for by great staff. Our bedroom was a suite and just gorgeous. Dinner and breakfast were superb with plenty of choices. Wandering around the extensive beautifully manicured grounds we found the kitchen garden which is obviously used for a great deal of the food in the hotel. Just wished we could have stayed longer. “

„Nice clean comfortable room but no tea spoons so a bit of a challenge to make a cup of tea! We arrived at 8.30pm and they had stopped food. However, they rustled us up a plate of chips :) “
