„This was our first trip to St John. The property was perfect for our group of 3. We loved Everything anout it! Beautiful grounds, house, pool and sunsets. Quiet neighborhood 5 minutes from Cruz bay and 1 mile to gourmet Grocery store. Very well equipped with beach chairs, cooler, beach towels and beach bags. „Jackie and her staff were amazing. Michele met us at the dock, took us to the property, and gave us some insightful information about grabbing groceries, must do activities, and how to get around while on the island.They also kept us informed about the times of potential power outages so that we could plan ahead.Our favorite thing about the property is the spacious patio. „This is a quintessential St John home with lovely stonework, beautiful teak trim and screen doors for the cross breeze and a great pool area. It would be perfect for a small family - there are two bedrooms, the primary en-suite and a second with separate bathroom (and an outdoor shower, which is fabulous). „Staying at the On a Whim house was a wonderful experience for our family. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, and the extra details were much appreciated, like the weights, snorkeling gear, and coolers. The space is well laid out and very clean, and the view/location is hard to beat. Dwight, the property manager was also excellent. „Great property. The view and location were wonderful. Perfect patio area to take a swim and watch the sunset. Very close to the Westin, Cruz Bay and markets. The layout of the home worked great for us (all adults), but might not be ideal for families with small children. 3 of the 4 bedrooms can only be accessed by an outdoor staircase and doors open to an open, outside hallway. Just something to be aware of. We had a great week - would return again. “

„We were blown away by the view from the house the minute we walked in! The rental company was very accommodating and we were able to check in early. The house was clean and we loved the different spaces for our group. We had 3 families and everyone was able to have their own space. Pool was great! Close to beaches and downtown. Some of our group had seen the listing with a hot tub which was no longer there. Otherwise, everything was as we expected. “

„Lera, the owener, is thoughtful, kind and generaous. She gave us detailed direction and instructions on use of applicance ahead of time. As soon as we entered the villa, a welcome gift box was waiting for us (rum, bottled water, coffe, tea, and snacks). Beach chairs and cooler are available too. „Loved the location The pool and the deck offered great views of long bay. Snorkling was great. House could of been a little cleaner,floors needed a good cleaning. No broom to sweep floor or deck. Beds were not that comfortable maybe time for new mattresses. Overall the house was great but it could have used some minor cosmetic repairs around pool area. „This property is STUNNING. It truly made our multi-generational family trip to St. Thomas so special. The layout of the house and incredible infinity pool overlooking the water were perfection. The pool was perfect for all ages- even the little kids were contained and had a blast! Ich finde ein Hotelzimmer in dem gegessen wird also mit Küche sollte mehr als alle 4 tage gereinigt werden, der whirlpool war total überchlort und der fitnessRaum war eher eine Ansammlung von 3 laufbändern 2 Fahrrädern 2 crosstrainern und kurzhanteln bis 15 Kilo. "Die Lage ist traumhaft.Der Strand ist top. Er bietet für jeden das Richtige.Man kann ganz alleine am Meer träumen oder alle Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten in Anspruch nehmen. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen mit dem Morgen-, Mittag- und Abendbuffet hat uns voll begeistert. Die Zimmer braucht man ja nur zum Duschen und Schlafen.Daher erwarteten wir von einem 3* Hotel keine Super-Suite. Einfach daran denken, dass es einmal in der Woche gereinigt wird, ausser man bucht gegen Aufpreis mehr."

"Chaotische Verhältnisse! Wollten und in ein billiges Zimmer unterbringen, obwohl wir die zweithöchste Kategorie gebucht hatten! Nach Beschwerde haben die uns das richtige Zimmer gegeben, mit blöden und unsachlichen Argumenten sich rausgeredet. Das Zimmer war neu aber chaotisch, da funktionierte nur die Hälfte, bei der Klimaanlage ist man fast weggeflogen weil sie so stark eingestellt war, konnte man nicht regulieren… und viele weitere Details, sehr schlecht geschlafen, der Strand und das Personal hat einiges behoben von dieser Erfahrung! Wir können das Hotel nicht empfehlen, voller grölender Amerikaner mit viel Gewicht und wissen dich nicht zu benehmen!"
