Areas below acceptable standards were as follows: 1. Spiral staircase to top bedroom unsafe. Top handrail is unsecured, and a pole fell out one night while the stairs were not in use. „We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. We could not have asked for a better spot to stay.“

„Very spacious downstairs, perfect for a big group. 2 lovely bedrooms with fantastic en suites and 2 good bedrooms with small en suites. Beautiful grounds with river and hot tub a great bonus. Altogether a lovely stay and would highly recommend.“

„Bedroom wall had bad damp all over one wall which left a musty smell. Main room had only one blind which meant sun light woke me up at 4/30 am. Terrible mattress which was awful to sleep in. “

The house had plenty of room and the two big bathrooms were perfect for us. Great value for money - will stay again. Plus met the really lovely cleaning lady our departure. Thank you.“
