„Beautiful house in excellent condition in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is provided in the house. The phone in the house did not seem to work to call the reception though. The nearest Tofukuji Station is only a few minutes’ walk away with two convenience stores on the way. Love to return in the future; cannot recommend more!! “

„Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. “

„女子旅だったので町屋でのんびりできてとても良かったです。 大通り沿いなので、夜中は外のバイクの音がうるさくて何回か起きてしまいましたが、その他については良かったです。 次は静かな藏やさんの町屋を利用したいです。“

„Clean rooms, towel service with water bottle everyday, property was quiet and well maintained. Lacking closet/dresser/hanger space. No dryer, just washer, but was provided a fan and hanging rack for drying. Loved the soaking tub!“

The owners do not speak English (which is perfectly fine, but I know some people are shocked when Japanese locals only speak Japanese lol). What I loved most is how convenient the location is. „Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!“
