A heads up that being less than 10 miles from the park actually means that it'll take you an hour of switchback driving to get to the General Sherman tree, but the drive up (and back) is spectacular as you get up into the mountains. „Comfortable bed and roomy cabin and very quiet. The location was great for visiting the Sequoias, maybe a 10 min drive to the gate. Well stocked kitchen and cabin. Everything you need for your stay. It was nice and cool inside when we arrived. Quick response from our hosts whenever we had a question.
