„Nellie’s log cabin is a real gem! Nestled in the woods on a working farm, this cabin is surrounded by beautiful hardwoods and faces a picturesque pond. It is peaceful and quiet and there is no traffic noise- only the sounds of birds, bullfrogs and chirping crickets. It is very close to Hanging Rock State Park. The hostess is extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns and the cabin upon arrival was absolutely spotless. This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! ...

„The cabin is so cute! It sits on beautiful property and watching the animals is so therapeutic. It was a short trip into Mayberry and close by to several restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Mount Airy. The cabin was very clean and everything we needed was provided. We also were provided with milk, juice, raisin bread and Reese Cups - YUM! „The pictures are really representative. Loved the FEEL. Has everything needed. Clean and well appointed. We were attending a conference at the Benton Convention Center. So quick to drive. Came back for one lunch and all dinners. Sat on the porch on the 2 swing chairs. Lively Restaurant Terrace in the back of the house but all quiets down around 10 pm, didn’t bother us. We absolutely enjoyed our stay The beds are heavenly. Very nice and responsive hosts. Thank you Claire & Joe. “

„Clean, well-stocked, and comfy beds and seating. The best part is the sunroom off the master bedroom. You feel like you're sipping tea in the tree tops.
