„Helpful staff , excellent room“

„A lovely central spot in the heart of Richmond. Staff were excellent and the breakfast is exceptional with local produce used. Would highly recommend“

„Very nice, big room. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom. Lovely pub. Great cooked breakfast. Friendly, good value for money.“

„The room smelled badly of smoking. 🚬 staff were okay. Area was sketchy. Sorry but I can’t recommend this place.“

„Really great stay, room was large warm and comfortable. Restaurant food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful“

„Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.“

„Very nice town!“

„Exceptionally pleasant and wonderful staff, Lovely big, very clean room. Food in the restaurant was very good. Would happily stay here again.“

„It was excellent value, comfy and cosy. Loved that there was a bath AND shower (useful if you break your wrist so bath is the only option). Staff were really nice and helpful, and cheered me up after hospital with hot chocolate. No food as out of season (so check first if you want breakfast). I would go back though as great base for walks“

„The room was nice and the bedding was amazing. Only thing to spoilt it was the such noisy plumbing, seriously, a tap on , toilet flick and shower was shocking, A poor nights sleep and the pipes were banging. Friendly staff but I couldn’t stay because of the noise x“
