Honey Meadow is a historic country house in the heart of the Irish countryside in County Cork. This majestic house was originally built in the 1720s and has been lovingly restored and renovated over the years while still retaining many of its original features and charm.

The house is surrounded by 80 acres of gardens, woodlands and parkland, providing a peaceful and secluded setting for guests to relax and unwind. There are also several lakes on the property, which are home to various wildlife. If you are looking for a stunning location for an unforgettable holiday or celebration, then this is the perfect place!  

Honey Meadow offers a range of accommodation options, including six guest rooms in the main house and the option for glamping tents in the extensive grounds. Each room is individually decorated and furnished with antique furniture and opulent linens. Full of charm and with views out to the picturesque grounds, these rooms are the ideal place to sit back, unwind and forget about any lasting worries.

Modernised with bluetooth speakers, Wi-Fi, coffee machines and plenty of reading materials, everything is taken care of. All of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, some of which offer statement antique baths, perfect for a long soak after a day of adventures and entertainment.  

During your stay at Honey Meadow, breakfast is included. The house is fully serviced, with dining options offering delicious farm-to-table cuisine using locally sourced ingredients, many of which are grown on the property. You can choose catering options for lunches, dinners, and special events. Beyond the food, there is also an on-site distillery where you can learn about gin-making and enjoy a tasting!

One of the unique features of Honey Meadow is its on-site distillery, where guests can learn about the process of making gin and enjoy a tasting. The house produces Bertha's Revenge Irish Milk Gin, a unique and delicious gin that has won numerous awards.

Maximum one medium sized dog is welcome on request only and with prior agreement with the owner. Additional dogs can be discussed on an individual basis. Please note that 5 dogs live on site.

Weddings (for up to 140 guests), intimate hen parties and any special events are on request only and subject to prior arrangement with the owner and additional charges. Stag parties are not allowed.



Please note that this is a catered property. Breakfast is included in the rental fees; dinner is subject to an additional cost based on the guests' menu choices. A sit-down lunch option is not offered.



There are six bedrooms in the house, sleeping up to 12 guests. However, glamping is also available from May until September, with bell tents and glamping arcs facilitating up to 20 further guests (at an additional cost).



Cots and additional beds are available on request - please enquire if required.



Guests will be required to sign a copy of the owner's rental terms before the arrival.
