„The villa is located in the bar and party area Kololo which makes it a noisy place at some nights. It has a very good Italian restaurant. It's a one-floor building so that people (workers, gardeners, cooks) were walking during the day in front of my window, looking inside. The staff doesn't show the level of friendliness I'm used from other hotels in Kampala. My overall impression was surprisingly negative.“

„The rooms are of good quality, so is the bathroom. My balcony was to the quiet botanical garden which was very nice. Rooms on the other side of the building facing the road are loud. Breakfast buffet is good, the choice is just OK. Very helpful staff which prepared an extra early breakfast for me when I was leaving to a national park trip --> thank you! The only weakness I noticed was the weak Wifi in the room. Paying for an executive room I would expect a stable, strong signal“

„The hotel offers everything one needs for a short or long stay. I stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed my small apartment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ordered via reception on the evening before, and the choices are rich. Since I was the only guest in the whole hotel I had the whole attention of the staff for myself... what a luxury. The hotel is not top-shot in Kampala, but definitely worth the money paid. The only disadvantage is the loud Lumumba Avenue, however, ...

„Sehr nettes und bemühtes Personal. Eingeschränktes Frühstück- und Lunch- Dinnerauswahl. Man sollte auch wissen, dass bei Lunch und Dinner alle Getränke extra bezahlt werden müssen. Schöne Anlage, aber es sollten dringend die Zimmer renoviert werden. Bei einem Teil ist es schon passiert, der Rest hat es aber bitter nötig.“

„While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money.“
