„Traditional Japanese Ryokan. Staff has been very welcoming and kind to our kids and us. Food has been a positive traditional experience. Special meals for our kids has been provided without asking. The outdoor onsen and sauna area has been great. Free shuttle transfer to the nearest stations including luggage support. The room itself is a bit dated but we enjoyed our overnight stay. “

„This is a truly unique hotel, transformed from an old house and surrounded by various shops that add to the street’s historic charm. We stayed on the ground floor and had a wonderful experience—a spacious bedroom facing a small, traditional courtyard, with convenient hotel facilities nearby. One staff member spoke excellent English, and even the Japanese-speaking staff were very helpful, assisting us by calling our next hotel in Kaga Onsen to arrange a pick-up bus. The staff were always polite ...

„浴場、レストランと感染予防対策がしっかりされており安心して利用できた。ただ、レストランの目玉商品、イベント料理で調理して出していただく料理の提供が遅く、楽しめなかったのは残念“

„Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Room was fantastic and the private onsen terrific. Set dinner experience was great too and they were able to cater for my wife’s gluten allergy, which some other ryokans we checked would not. Staff were great too!“

„This resort appears to be popular with families with little kids. We got a room with 2 beds and 2 futons so it was larger than the usual futon only rooms. It had a bathroom but no shower, with expectations that you would shower at the onsen. They had free parking which was nice. The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast of our trip with lots of items to choose from. “

„Our room was spacious and very clean. The private onsen was large and very comfortable, looking out over the river but completely private. We had the kaiseki dinner each night which was elaborate and delicious. The town of Yamanaka is very pretty with fun row of shops specialising in lacquer wear and pottery, some cafes, the usual restaurants and a big public men's and women's bath, along with a beautiful walk in the gorge along the river. All of this is within 5-15 minutes walk of the hotel. ...
