Every detail of our extremely clean room was taken into consideration. There were complimentary snacks and drinks of all kinds. Most places just give you sample soaps but beyond that they had q-tips, eye drops, ect... Every possible need was looked out for. The bed was great and the pillows even better and in abundance. These are the hosts with the most.“

„Nice place, I had the one bedroom unit. Basic room, but clean and well maintained. Kitchen is basic but essentials are there. Quiet, somewhat secluded area, but very safe. Only 10 minutes from MTU, so very convenient.Host is very responsive.Great alternative for hotels, especially when they are full.Would definitely recommend.“

„The cabin was cute, very outdoorsy but really cool. We tried to count all the bears in the cabin, we never could come up with an actual count. We looked all around in our adventure to the north for a bear to add and could not find one. Really nice place. The traffic was a bit much the first night but we got used to it. „My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. We also loved his sweet dog Max, who quickly pivoted from intimidating bark at strangers to "dare you to try to take my stick" playfulness in seconds.I would go back in a heartbeat, but I did take off 1 star for listing accuracy only ...
