„This is a lovely cottage that's perfectly situated between the town of Woodstock and the Overlook Mountain trail. Wonderful ambiance, great mattress, generously-appointed kitchen. Only caveat is that the ceilings are quite low in some spots — especially the kitchen entrance and the upstairs loft-style bedroom. Bumped my head a few times when I forgot to duck!“

The hot tub is great after skiing all day and the house had everything we needed for our stay. I especially loved that there were plenty of beds, a full bath on each floor, and comfy throw blankets. „We spent 3 days at Jim and May's place - it was the first time we had gone away since our new baby arrived. It was the perfect spot for a few days to enjoy the beauty of the Ashokan Reservoir and the fun of Woodstock (only a 20 min Dr) Jim and May were so gracious, super communicative and were the perfect hosts. The outdoor space with a porch swing was so enjoyable for our little one. It was also super dog friendly which is so so hard to find up in the Hudson valley.“
