„I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. „We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there“

„Eigentlich ein tolles altes Gebäude aber der Zustand war ehr heruntergekommen. Das Bad war eine Zumutung nur mit Badewanne ohne Duschmöglichkeit. Sehr hellhörig.“

„We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there“

„Sehr alt und eklig!“

„Amsauberes Zimmer - nettes hilfsbereites Personal - gutes Frühstück“

„Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.“

„Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.“

„Very clean and tidy place with friendly staff.“

„The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again“
