"Das ABode Canterbury liegt super zentral und ist damit ideal, um Canterbury zu Fuß zu erkunden. Trotz der Lage war unser Zimmer zur Fußgängerzone angenehm ruhig, sodass wir gut schlafen konnten. Beim Frühstück gibt es nur ein kleines Buffet, was aber daran liegt, dass das Frühstück à la carte bestellt wird. Das Frühstück war gut – im Hotel weist sogar eine Urkunde auf einen gewonnenen Frühstücks-Award hin. Angenehm ist auch der gemütlich rustikale Aufenthaltsraum im ersten Stock mit mehreren Sofa/Tisch Gruppen, der für einen abendlichen Spiele Abend genutzt wurde. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für einen Städtetrip nach Canterbury."

"Wir haben eine Rundreise unternommen und sind von Calais nach Dover gefahren und haben einen Tag das Schloss in Dover besichtigt. Die Fähre, das Schloss, die weissen Felsen und das Hotel sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, was uns den Tagesausflug hat sehr einfach und entspannt gestalten lassen. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr einladend und das Zimmer war traumhaft. Leider hatten wir keine Zeit das Wellnessangebot zu nutzen. Bei Anreise war das Zimmer leider noch nicht fertig. Der Check in hat sich ein wenig gezogen. Wir hatten die Gelegenheit dann genutzt und sind zum Mittagessen gegangen. Die Qualität und das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis im Restaurant können wir nur mit 3 Sternen bewerten. Den Rest haben wir mit 5 Sternen bewertet. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder um den Spa und die Bar zu testen."

"The hotel rooms and bathrooms are newly renovated. Very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant area is great with an indoor seating and also a large outdoor patio and seating area - wonderful in the summer. Good food. Very dog friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to get to by car and has a car park or you can get here by local bus 502 from Ashford train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We had a lovely stay in hythe . Sorry to say that we would have liked to drink a coffee at 8.00 in the morning. We were told that we had To buy breakfast or wait till the bar opened so we could just gave coffee. We didn’t want to eat breakfast has we were going to have a celebration lunch at 12.00. Were were told they would only serve us coffee if we had breakfast and to pay 40 pounds for just two coffees would have been a little to expensive. We had had Sunday lunch the day before with a bottle of champagne, a bottle of red wine and 6 meals . Today we could not get a coffee!!! In the morning. We stayed two nights and on the second morning we didn’t even consider having breakfast, we walked on the beach front and found a little coffee shack who were more than welcome to serve us coffee at 8.00 in the morning."

"Hier ist die natürliche englische Übersetzung im Stil einer Expedia-Bewertung: Nice hotel in a convenient location, ideal for a stopover when travelling to or from England. The Channel Tunnel and Dover are both easily and quickly accessible from here. This was our second stay at the hotel. After the renovation, the rooms are even nicer than before, while the hotel has still retained its original charm. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a large car park in front of the hotel (or rather the restaurant), as well as a spacious garden area next to the property. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty."
