„Der Besuch des Camps war einer der Höhepunkte unserer Reise. Er gewährte einen grandiosen Einblick in die Kultur der Maasai. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und humorvoll, die Aktivitäten waren toll organisiert und auch die Verpflegung ist sehr gut. Besonders gelohnt hat sich auch das Busch-Camping. Verbringt am besten einige Tage dort und nicht nur eine Nacht. Ich denke 3 Nächte sind optimal für einen soliden Einblick“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mara Duma in a triple tent. The tent was right on the Talek River and we slept to the sounds of hippos grunting and frogs. The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly, kind and helpful - and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. Food was tasty and home cooked and they catered for my gluten allergy brilliantly - i didnt get contaminated. „Visited Ashnil as part of a longer trip. The other Lodges have excellent dinner and lunch meals and service. Here, we were told on arrival that each sitting would cost us a small fortune for what turned out to be very mediocre meals. You are in the middle of nowhere, so paying for these meals left a bitter taste in the mouth for a one-night stay. Service was inferior, period. The bathrooms are horrible - see photos. „Great location with excellent food and very close to Amboseli National Park. Even on the last mile to the lodge you can spot giraffes, zebras, gazelles, monkeys, elephants. We enjoyed very much the location.“
