Stunning 3 bed cottage with exceptional views over fields and the Lakeland fells

Take the opportunity to stay on a 150 acre family run sheep farm, close to the Lakes and Dales, Drovers Cottage was converted in 2018/19 to a high specification to give a modern contemporary and homely feel that compliments the history and features of the original barn. The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large fully equipped kitchen/diner all heated by a biomass boiler which provides the underfloor heating and hot water.
The Cottages are a short drive from the centre of Kendal and its amenities, which is one of the Lake Districts most popular market towns. In addition to a wide variety of shops and supermarkets there are many cosy tearooms, cafes restaurants and pubs. Take a walk by the river or to the castle, visit the museums, art gallery and the Brewery Arts centre.
Explore Windermere only 20 mins away. Bowness, Ambleside and a host of other attractions of the South Lakes or head east towards Sedbergh, Dent, Hawes and the Yorkshire Dales; making the Cottages an ideal base for relaxing or exploring both National Parks and Morecambe Bay.

Top Notch Holiday Cottage
Everything about Drover's Cottage exudes class & quality. The beds, mattresses, duvets, pillows and linen were some of the most comfortable I have experienced on holiday. The bathrooms are well appointed with great showers and large cosy towels. It is extremely comfortable, and even though it is situated on a working farm (which for me added to it's charm) inside & out is incredibly neat & tidy, and so well thought-out. Definitely recommend.

Spotless cottage with beautiful view
Converted farm building to very high standard. Lesley and Robert were lovely hosts, always available when needed but never intrusive. This is a working sheep farm but Robert showed us where we could walk our dog safely. 3 of us and the dog had a very happy week here while walking the Dales Way. Thank you.

Superior decor, fixtures and fittings. Cottage had everything we needed and being allowed to walk our dogs(on a lead of course) anywhere across the owner's fields was an added bonus.
