„Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. „I was unable to use my booking as i had 2 funerals to attend. My daughters came instead. They said mum you would have hated it stank everywhere of dogs and they were in the dining room. It seems you are more dog friendly than people friendly“

„Beautiful room (we stayed in 15) loved the complimentary drink in the bar and delicious cookies in the evening. Super comfy bed and pillows. Gorgeous bathroom with huge bath and shower. „We had a rather mixed experience at Wenns Chop & Ale House. While the location was great and the restaurant offered some great options, the room left much to be desired. The disappointment began when we entered our room. What we have booked was advertised as a deluxe apartment on Hotels.com. The pictures on the platform had promised a spacious room with a comfortable sofa and an impressive bathtub in the middle of the room, along with a view of the minster.
