The property was the perfect space for our group. We had a joint bachelor / bachelorette party and it was great. It was easy to get to town but still was secluded enough for a relaxing time. We loved hanging out by the pool and got so much use out of the poker / game table. Would definitely recommend this property for a large group or gathering! There were plenty of amenities! We wish we could’ve enjoyed the pool and the fire pit but it was too warm in Texas summer for that. But the property was equipped and ready for us!!

Great Property for a Navy Family Reunion

It was a great property for 4 families to meet up and enjoy the outdoors. Couldn't ask for better weather and the kids enjoyed running around with each other outside and taking over the bunkhouse.

Worked out great for our Youth event, plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. We were able to easily fit everyone in the common areas, and the bunkhouse made it accommodating for splitting up the guys and girls at night. Phone service and internet were difficult in this area, but those who had AT&T were able to make calls and use data. There are dogs running around the area, so be mindful of that.

This property had a good amount of space for the price. The kitchen was roomy enough to accommodate cooking for a large group. The Living area with card/game table was well used, and the game room with pool table and air hockey was nice for the kids. The pool and floats were also clean and enjoyed by all. However, most in our group felt that the beds and pillows were not comfortable. Of the three bathrooms in the main house, two were inside bedrooms, making them unavailable if those people were asleep. Our main concerns centered around health and safety. Close to the house there is what appears to be an aerobic septic system. This sprays excess septic fluids into the air in a septic field. Renters should be made aware of this in order to keep children out of that field. Finally, the house has mice. There were multiple mouse traps set out, and we heard mice skitching in the walls at night. We also saw a mouse in the kitchen during the day, when there were multiple people around. This boldness of behavior in mice would indicate an infestation. So, while we appreciated the space, the pool, and the affordable price, we would not recommend this property at this time.

Family Vacation

This an awesome house with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy each other. The bunk room was great to play charades and be as loud as they wanted without disturbing the whole house. We have a family vacation each year and everyone agreed would definitely come back to this house again.

We had an amazing time at our family reunion at Blue Moon. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 30. The grill/smoker were awesome for our cook out. The jacuzzi and the pool were great! The kitchen was big and had plenty of utensils.A few recommendations: better WiFi, the mattresses could stand to be upgraded and please consider making the house ADA compliant. We would definitely consider using again.

Enjoyed staying at this place

I rented this place last night and I can’t stop myself to write a review for this property. It is really good, cleaned, good for camp fire, good for hookah, good for party and we had a party of last night here and it was really amazing good for group parties over 15+ People. I would love to visit this place again for the next parties and would recommend. Hot tub outside is my most favourite

Space enough for Everyone

All went well from arrival to departure and the home was as advertised. Plenty of towels, plenty of activity diversions, plenty of room and a kitchen well stocked for those littler things that you may have forgotten. The only thing we had a problem with was the TV remotes but it was just a matter of getting used to the controls.

Trade Days Family Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at this home and would definitely go again. It was perfect with all the activities to keep our teenagers happy and the bunk room was excellent. My only suggestion with that, is to carefully read the fine print as I was unaware when I paid that I was one person shy to include the bunkhouse. I did pay extra at check in and the owner was kind enough to send her cleaning crew over so the kids could get settled. The only other thing I would suggest to the owner is that the master bedroom bed is in need of replacing. Thanks for a great getaway!

Wonderful Reunion Event Area!!

I had so many family members remark on how this was the best place to rent out for our family reunion. The place was spacious, felt like home and full of amenities. Teenagers loved the pool. The ONLY major issue was the sprinkler system running outside the backyard. It was clear it was a recycled septic sprinkler. The smell made being in the backyard while running unbearable. Luckily it only ran late at night. This was the only drawback. We still will be back but will make sure the sprinkler is turned off or bleach tablets killing the smell. The location of the rental was near Tom Finley Park where we went fishing. Also close to the Extended Stay at Gun Barrel City where the overflow of family members stayed. Like I said, will stay here again.
