Cool property if you want something different from the norm.

This is a very cool old house with modern touches that make it a unique place to stay in Kelowna. The neighbourhood is great, close to the beach and downtown, with all the amenities nearby. It’s on a main road, which can be a little loud at times, but was ok through the night. Because it’s an old house, it does have it quirks. The AC was dripping when we arrived, the hardwood floors are very creaky, there wasn’t an iron or ironing board and the wifi is patchy. (The bed was also very soft and squishy which for us was a con, but that’s a personal preference). It does however have a lot of space inside and character which most modern accommodations don’t have.

Clean and Spacious

Condo unit was very clean and large enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably. Very nice kitchen space and outdoor area . Did not find it noisy at all, as other reviewers had mentioned . Although there was a plug in A.C unit in the main living area, it does not reach into the master bedroom, which was very warm making it difficult to sleep. No fans available in the unit so we did end up having to go purchase some . Also, only 3 bath towels and face cloths provided for 4 adults staying. The host had said she would drop another one off but we never did receive it. Similarly the kitchen only had one dish cloth and one dish towel to use. The "plush sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress" as described in the listing, does not exist . It was an old sleeper sofa with a very thin and worn mattress . Not comfortable for an adult to sleep on. Bed in master suite was very comfortable.

Lovely house but older so noisy

The house was so cute and lovely. The owner was very responsive and nice. Only thing is that as it is a heritage property and wooden you can hear everything. There was a young child staying above us who like to run every which starting early in the morning. Also, on our first night my girlfriends and I were sitting around playing a card game, watching a movie and laughing. The quiet time is at 11:00pm but we were told to quiet down and not walk so loud at 9:30pm on a Saturday when all we were doing was walking to the kitchen or washroom and just laughing. Overall, we loved the place but just would suggest it for only one or two people really looking for a really quiet stay.

Smooth check in/out experience with excellent, easy to follow instructions. Great location and a short distance from downtown Kelowna. Well maintained property with a homey, old fashioned aesthetic, updated with modern amenities for comfort. Wow!

For the same price as a sterile chain hotel you get a 1,000 sf condo in a historic and renovated mansion. Great furnishings, great bed, well appointed kitchen, and comfortable seating in the living area and on the patio. The pictures actually don't do the Oak Suite justice. The room is spacious but cozy and if you are a fan of good architecture you will spend a lot of time admiring the details of the restoration. Please stay here. You won't regret it.

Great home close to the Lake

Yolanda has a beautiful property that is handy to Downtown, the Lake and most sites that you need to visit in Kelowna. Well maintained suite has everything you need. Nicely upgraded and more than enough room. Fireplace in Living Room as well as Master Suite. Comfortable living area with new La-Z-Boy recliners to enjoy. Rear deck to enjoy the sun. Well equipped kitchen with lots of staples to help you with dinners. Well worth a stay here.

Beautiful place, fabulous hostess, highly recommend Cadder House.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cadder house. This charming property was beautiful, immaculately maintained and I admired Yolanda' attention to every little detail. The property is well located with easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants etc. Yolanda also responded immediately to emails. I appreciated the communication as we were 2 families travelling with kids. I would highly recommend this place, truly a home away from home.

Our Condo was more that we could have hoped for. It was very spacious, well appointed, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The charm and texture of the old world character home was throughout and the new kitchen and bathrooms were great. Easy parking and easy access to everything. (and yes, air conditioning) Location right in the heart of Kelowna. My kids and I loved our stay there! We will definitely stay there again!

Fantastic heritage property

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in both the Oak and Sterling suites and would highly recommend both. The extra touches make each of them feel like a home away from home. The beds are very comfortable and kitchen very well supplied .Yolanda went out of her way to provide any of our needs and was always available for questions. The property is maintained beautifully both inside and out.
