„The hosts are very dear people. The modest room was clean offering internet, television and hot water..i slept comfortably on the soft bed. Cooling is a ceiling fan & in tge cement building is more than adequate even in the summer heat.“

„Stayed two nights in this hotel. It's located at the eastern edge of Thamel area, so with just 5-10 minutes walk you are inside the touristic places of Thamel. Hotel is clean, staff is exceptionally friendly (e.g. Mrs. Januka at reception) - much like basically any Nepali I met. Comfort and standard of hotel is more backpacker-style and not of newest date, but as said before kept clean and orderly. Warm water from solar water heater on roof is working just fine. „Das Zimmer im 5.Stock war sehr groß und im Tibetischen Stil Eingerichtet. Das große sehr bequeme Bett erleichterte unseren aufenthalt im lärmigen staubigen KTM erheblich. Das Badezimmer war sehr groß und wie auch der Restliche Raum sehr sauber. Die Tägliche Reinigung des Zimmers , wie auch das Hilfsbereite und sehr freundliche Personal machen den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel zu einem Erlebnis. Als einzigen “Kritikpunkt” die Preise im Hoteleigenen Restaurant und Caffe sind dem Westlichen ...

„I loved everything about to but had been under the impression that a washer/dryer was available but it wasn’t. You would have to pay a fee per item to be washed and the fee was way too high- 90rupees for per shirt, etc. that was very disappointing. Other than that I enjoyed staying there.“

„Das Yak und Yeti liegt ein paar Meter abseits der Hauptstrasse, was bezüglich der Luftverschmutzung, welche in Kathmandu herrscht ideal ist. Man flüchtet sich sehr gerne in die grosszügige Hotelhalle mit Bar und den schönen Garten! Der "staff" ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen sehr gut! Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 4. Etage mit speziellem "floor service", was ich nur empfehlen kann. Die Mehrkosten waren es allemal wert! Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht mehr ganz dem 5 Sterne ...
