„Toro River was an absolutely unique experience. We celebrated my birthday and our first wedding anniversary there, and we could not have had a more special and immersive experience. Our room was right on the river, and we were able to see many crocodiles and hippos from our own balcony. The room itself was wonderful, extremely spacious, with a very high ceiling and a beautiful private balcony overlooking the river. The amenities were excellent, the room was extremely well equipped, and the ...

„I should preface this review by saying that I am a professional wildlife photographer. I have stayed at dozens of safari lodges both, expensive high-end and ‘budget’ all over Southern and East Africa. The Cape Vulture Lodge, is exceptional! I simply cannot praise it enough. If you require accommodation in this part of South Africa, this is the place to stay! „Amazing lodge with lots of attention to detail. Kitchen fully equiped and we even had Christmass cake on the bed at arrival“

„Not having a tv in my room , was a turn off for me . I think it will be best if guests are advised to only come to the premises with off road cars. “

„This property exceeded our expectations. The friendly owners communicated with us through the whole stay via whatsapp. It was clean and had everything we needed. The scenery was beyond beautiful with the sound of the river just outside. Also the illusion of being in a tree house, it was just phenominal. During this pandemic, it was really a breath of fresh air. We will definitely book again and tell our family, friends and colleagues. Thank you for such an amazing stay, your property is just top ...
