Beautiful property, great location, broken appliances, dishonest management
The location of the property can't be beat - Kapa'a is centrally located, and the property itself is right on the ocean, with gorgeous views. The condo itself looks just like the photos. My problem was with the property management company. When we arrived (for a 7 day stay) there was a sign announcing that both the dishwasher and microwave were broken!!! They provided a "replacement" microwave which sorta worked - the rotating plate didn't rotate - but they NEVER fixed or replaced the dishwasher. Even worse, every day they told me that a repair person would be there the "next day" to fix it. Halfway through the stay, they offered me a 10% discount to compensate for 3 days of no dishwasher and said it would be repaired the next day. The next day came and went...no one showed up again! They said they'd replace it the following day...no one showed up. Meanwhile we are hand washing dishes for a whole family 3x day - something I don't even have to do at home. I paid a premium to ensure I wouldn't have to wash dishes on vacation. They day before we left they said they wouldn't be fixing it at all !! All they agreed to was a late check out to accommodate me for the 2nd half of our trip. Beautiful property but beware of this management company!
