Lae Nani 231 is located on Kauai's beautiful coconut coast. The Penthouse overlooks the pool, lawn, beach, ocean and majestic mountains. We are located on the top floor in a corner end unit, which provides the ultimate privacy. Panoramic ocean views are available from the living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai. A new split A/C system was installed in April 2023 providing total comfort throughout the entire unit.

Just a short walk along the beach path you will find yourself at The Lava Lava Beach Club next door, which offers live music, pupus and dinner in a casual atmosphere right on the ocean. A few steps further up the beach is the famous Hukilau Lanai restaurant for a more elegant atmosphere. You're also a short walk to the Coconut Marketplace which offers several eateries, galleries, boutiques, a convenience store, as well as free hula shows M/W/F and a farmer's market T/Thurs.

In the unit you will find two Smart TV's in both the living room and in the bedroom. Both TV's are fully equipped with todays most current streaming options. There is Wireless High Speed Internet for you to use, and a 2.1 sound bar in the living room that allows you to stream music from your Bluetooth device.

The Living room and dining room are accented with bamboo crown molding and tiger wood floors.

The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and stove. Also includes stainless steel cookware, coffee maker, Keurig, a French press and electric kettle. The counters are finished in majestic magma granite.

The Master bedroom is appointed with a king bed and a 14' memory foam mattress and luxury linens. All interior doors are solid teak, louvered island style.

There are rainforest marbled countertops in both bathrooms and inlayed marble on travertine floors. The Master bath has a large shower lined in travertine and decorative tile, a built in bench and hand held/stationary showerheads. Luxury towels and robes are provided.

The lanai is furnished with a bar height table that provides an unobstructed view over the railing. We have also provided two large cushioned chairs and an ottoman which is perfect for relaxing and reading or just enjoying the magnificent surroundings.

The sandy beach allows easy access for swimming, boogey boarding, or just floating in the warm waters of the Pacific. Most often it's quite safe but can be dangerous when surf is large. The 'keiki pool' is surrounded by lava rock to create a shallow natural pool with a sandy bottom.

Some onsite conveniences are coin-operated (Wash app available as well) laundry and gas operated barbecues. Enjoy the lighted tennis courts and large heated pool. These amenities are all exceptionally well maintained. The grounds are immaculate and lush with many local varieties of flowers and plants. Kauai is truly the 'Garden Isle'.

Lae Nani is centrally located on the east shore, and just a 30 minute drive to the north shore, Princeville and Hanalei Bay. Poipu beach is 30 minutes to the south.

Hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, and surfing areas are abundant. Waterskiing and wakeboarding are also available on nearby Wailua River. If oceanfront golf on a budget sounds fun, Wailua Golf Course is just a 2.2 mile drive away.


Convenient access to the Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path starts next door at Lava Lava. The more than 7 mile, mostly flat path is perfect for biking/walking. Rent a bike and explore this popular path that runs along the coconut coast from Lydgate Park all the way to Donkey Beach.

Lae Nani was an awesome place, spacious, well equipped with all amenities and very clean. It is at a great location and steps from the beach. The community is very peaceful and clean. The hosts respond quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

What a great place to stay—truly the perfect location. The beach, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores are all within easy walking distance. Plus, it’s centrally located on the island, which made it super convenient for day trips to both the North Shore and Poipu Beach.The condo itself was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed, soft pillows, and even a sound machine (which I personally loved!). The AC worked well, and the view from the condo was beautiful.The host was very responsive. The Keurig was broken when we arrived, but there were two other coffee makers available—and by the next day, a brand-new Keurig had already been delivered. Great service!If I had to mention one downside, there was a bit of nearby construction, but we were usually out hiking before sunrise and only noticed it when we tried to sneak in an afternoon nap. But honestly, who needs a nap in paradise?We would absolutely stay here again!

The Condo is lovely - well decorated and a kitchen fully equipped. Great view of the ocean and mountains across the bay. Lovely grounds and easy access to a walking path along the shore. Was in a very convenient location. Manager was attentive and quick to respond to questions.

This unit is a gem. Top floor end-unit with A/C throughout if you need it. Nicely furnished and the view is unsurpassed. Quiet yet convenient to the farmer's market, shops and restaurants.

This was our second stay in Amber’s condo. It has a lovely view of the pool and ocean. Nicely decorated and the air conditioner is great when needed.We hope to stay there again.My only suggestion is that she purchase a few more dishes . Then we wouldn’t have to run the dishwasher half empty. Mahalo

Absolutely gorgeous view and property grounds. Very convenient to lots of great food and easy drive to other parts of the island. Unit could be upgraded a bit. Specifically cushions on both living room and on lanai furniture sink in the middle and need cleaning. Most decorations lovely tropical but probably need replacing due to age. Nice and clean.

The grounds are beautiful, as is the condo we stayed in. We had a stunning view of the ocean, which we enjoyed from our deck overlooking the pool and grounds. Everything was absolutely lovely! The bed is comfortable, both air conditioning units worked wonderfully in both the living room and the bedroom. They were so appreciated when the offshore hurricane made it too windy to leave the windows open. Our only complaint, which is very small, is that there are only four plates and four dinner forks in the kitchen. There are plenty of cups, glasses, spoons and knives, but having only a limited number of plates and forks became a daily annoyance. We hand washed the forks and bought paper plates so we didn't have to run an almost empty dishwasher every day. This is a luxury condo, and we felt having an adequate supply of dishes should be expected.

We absolutely loved our stay in Kauai!! The condo was PERFECT for us! We appreciated having A/C in the main living room and a separate A/C for the bedroom. The weather was beautiful but it is humid. Being on the East Shore is super convenient. We ate several times next door at Lava Lava! Food, drinks and service were top-notch with live entertainment daily (though ends at 9:00). Kauai is unbelievably gorgeous, with an abundance of beautiful landscape and birds. If nightlife is important to you-Kauai may not be the place for you. Things close up @9/10. We didn't care because our days were so full! One recommendation to anyone: Get the "Revealed Kauai" app!! I truly can not recommend enough. It is GPS guided and it was like we had our own personal tour guide in our car!! FULL of interesting information as well as restaurant and shopping recommendations. We used in addition to the book. We cancelled several tours I had booked once we realized how comprehensive the app was! We could go at our own pace-seeing what was important to us. The condo was a perfect place to come home and wake up to every day!!! We WILL be back!

We loved the property outside. It was well maintained and our condominium has a great view of the pool and ocean. All amenities were great in the condo. The only negative thing I have to say is the cleanliness of the condo. It appeared only the bed was changed and dishes done. There was a ton of dust and the floor was not swept. I’m not sure what cleaning company is being used but I would re evaluate using them for sure. All in all I would book it again.

This condo was exactly what we needed for a week in Kauai. It is a great location. We did not need to drive far to get to Poipu in the south or Princeville in the north. The lanai gives you a great view of the ocean, allowing you to listen to the waves crashing as you enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool is very nice. And the community is very quiet. The Property manager of the condo was very responsive with my questions better our trip. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. Property is accurately described. Bed was super comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The grounds are impeccably kept. Location is convenient for exploring the island. Check in was a breeze. We really enjoyed the lanai. Views are fantastic! Easy walk to Lava Lava Beach Club and Coconut Market. Highly recommend this property if you are planning a visit to Kauai.
