"We stayed at this hotel for six nights and overall we were very satisfied with our experience. We booked and paid through Expedia, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cold towel, which was a very nice and thoughtful gesture after a long journey. The rooms were comfortable and in good condition. They were clean and well maintained, and considering local standards in Sri Lanka, the level of cleanliness was absolutely fine. Some minor renovation or refreshing could make the rooms even better, but this did not affect our stay in any negative way. The food selection was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Both breakfast and dinner offered plenty of choices, and we always found something we really enjoyed. What made our stay truly pleasant was the staff. Everyone was very kind and friendly, from the restaurant team during breakfast and dinner to the room attendants and the staff at the pool towel desk. We always felt welcome and well taken care of. Overall, we had a wonderful time here and would gladly return in the future. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!"

"Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. Im Zimmer ist ein modriger Geruch wahrzunehmen der ohne einschalten der Klimaanlage auf das Maximum nicht aushaltbar ist. Auch haben wir im Zimmer eine Kakerlake entdeckt. Das Service ist einen 5 Sterne Hotel leider auch nicht würdig. -gewisse Gäste werden bevorzugt -Zimmer werden auch nicht gründlich gereinigt -kein entgegnkommen bei kleinesten Bitten - trotz Lebensmittelvergiftung (in einem andern Restaurant eingefangen) war es am Tag des Auschecken nicht möglich 2 stunden länger im Zimmer zu bleibn -es konnte nichtmal Arzt und auch kein Taxi bestellt werden "
