Where will I be?

The Lakehouse is located 15 kilometres from Kangaroo Valley Village and just 2 hours from Sydney. Guests will appreciate the privacy of this property set on 36 acres and with a 350 metre lake frontage. The surrounding towns and villages of the Southern Highlands and Berry are easily accessible via picturesque country roads.

How is the property laid out?

The Lakehouse is a single storey home. The main living space includes dining and living areas which are separated by a double-sided combustion fire. The extensive windows allows abundant natural light to fill the home and make the most of the beautiful surroundings. The living area opens to an oversized, covered verandah with lounge area, outdoor dining table and BBQ.

The four bedrooms are large with built in robes and ensuites. The master with a king bed, has an ensuite with a bath, shower and toilet. The second king bedroom has an ensuite with a shower and toilet. This king bed can be split into 2 x king singles if requested at the time of booking. while the third and fourth bedrooms have queen beds and ensuites with shower and toilet. All bedrooms are positioned to have fantastic views of the surrounding bushland and escarpment!

WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?

The Lakehouse has several smart TV’s. Please bring your own logins to access streaming services.

This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email and will be available at the property.

What about outdoors?

The outdoors of The Lakehouse is every bit as impressive as the interiors. The dining area flows effortlessly onto a spacious covered terrace, creating the perfect setting for long lunches, alfresco dining, and relaxed evenings with family and friends. Stone-paved pathways lead from the home to the infinity pool and spa, complemented by a sunken lounge area designed for relaxation while taking in the spectacular lake and escarpment views. A private jetty with kayaks is available for guests to use. Expansive lawns surround the property, and Australian wildlife is prevalent on the property.

Staying warm or keeping cool

The Lakehouse features a double-sided combustion fireplace that creates a warm and inviting focal point in both the living and dining areas during the cooler months. Zoned ducted air conditioning and heating provide personalised climate control throughout the home while underfloor heating and double glazing provides comfort in every season. Fresh country breezes flow through the living spaces and provide a comfortable, naturally cooled environment when the weather is mild.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

High quality sheets and bath towels are provided at The Lakehouse. Beach towels are also provided for use by the pool.

Parking for cars etc?

There is ample parking on the driveway. Please note that part of the road to The Lakehouse is unsealed.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

What are the minimum stay rules?

Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
Easter: 4 nights
Long Weekends: 3 nights
All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
