„Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more ...

„Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future.“

„This is great value for money with easy access to all the local sights. We spent two days here and from the wonderful welcome until we left they were attentive and friendly. There is a fantastic pool which is needed after day trips out and about. “

„The resort is set back from a busy road in a fabulous nature setting. Beware that 20 out of the 26 "rooms" are tents and only 6 are solid built cottages. If you want a glamping style close to nature experience then the tents are fabulous. If you want to have more privacy go for the cottages, which are very large and beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful. As we were few people breakfast and dinner options were limited but very tasty. Excellent option for a luxury stay in thw dambulla triangle.“
