Wir hoffen, dass Sie sich für Ihren Aufenthalt bei unserer Erweiterung der Kanab-Gemeinschaft entscheiden: der "Casita on Palomar Lane". Wir befinden uns nur zehn Minuten außerhalb von Kanab, nicht weit von den Annehmlichkeiten entfernt, aber dennoch privat, so dass Sie die Ruhe der Gegend genießen können. Genießen Sie den freien Blick auf die Vermillion Cliffs im Norden und den Kaibab National Forest im Süden. Für Naturliebhaber und Wanderer ist das Casita ein schöner Ort, um sowohl den Bryce- als auch den Zion-Nationalpark zu besuchen. Für Tierliebhaber sind wir nur 15 Minuten vom Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, dem größten Tierheim ohne Tötung, entfernt! Wenn du die Natur liebst und Zeit mit Tieren verbringst (so wie wir), dann ist das Kanab-Gebiet genau das Richtige für dich!

Our second stay in 8 months.

We stayed September, 2023. We enjoyed the spot and returned in May 2024. I am confined to a wheelchair. This rental worked great for me. The concrete floors, wide doors, large bathrooms & concrete parking pad. We hope to return for a third time.

Perfect location to visit 3 awesome national parks

Nice quiet location. We used it as a base to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks. It was the perfect size for 2 couples. We hope to visit again in the future as there are so many things we missed because of time.

Great Location

We rented the house as it was located close to Zion & Bryce. We did not spend much time in the home, as we were busy touring the national parks. However, the home was very comfortable with all the necessities. The small touches such as chargers by the bed and reading lights, showed the host thought of all the right amenities. Next time we would book an extra couple days just to enjoy the town of Kanab with its nice shops and restaurants.

A very nice place.

Perfect base camp for our adventures. Plus, the night sky is spectacular even though it was cold we still went out and looked at the stars. This place has everything you need, we cooked most of our meals here except the couple of late nights that we got back. The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are very spacious and so is the great room. I loved waking up super early, brewing some coffee and sitting there with the little fireplace going watching the dawn break through the window. The check in was a breeze and the instructions for all the appliances are well written. Bring a pair of slippers though, we took our shoes off at the door to keep from tracking in mud/snow (from hiking boots and such) and with the concrete floors my slippers were much appreciated. We have found our place to stay when we are in the Kanab area. Ms. Tana even came to the place before we checked in to make sure it was warm and cozy! Thanks Ms. Tana! We will be back!

Overall, everything was great, cabin was a bit chilly at night as the temperature was set to go down at night coupled with the concrete floors. It would have been nice if a note was provided so guests to adjust. Maybe stock more blankets for people traveling from colder climates.

COVID-19

We were unable to go due to the pandemic. I rated everything excellent so you would know that Bryan the property manger was very understanding and gave us credit for our stay and rescheduled us for Thanksgiving. He has been great! Definitely a super host!

Perfect vacation rental

This was the perfect rental for our stay in Kanab - a great central location for southern Utah and Arizona natural attractions. The property is just outside of town so it's quiet and the natural surroundings are beautiful. The casita was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We were very happy to find a high speed blender! Other thoughful things in the casita- information on things to do in the area, Direct TV, movies, books, games, dog toys and a cooler. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect Location

Our stay at the Casita on Palamar Lane was delightful. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed for meals at home, along with a washer/dryer. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms immaculate. Kanab is a great town with grocery stores and restaurants. The location was perfect for traveling to national parks and landmarks. We highly recommend this sweet, little casita and would stay again!

Turbo razor time

This is the second year time we have rented this house and will rent again next year. It was another great trip meant the neighbors who were great looking forward to next year riding new areas and BBQ with neighbors. Loved it!

The cabin was perfect. It is in a convenient location to get to Kanab and all the major parks around like Zion and Bryce. Star gazing at night from the cabin was amazing! I haven't seen the milky way since I was a kid. The cabin was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. The fire pit at night was a plus and the view from the porch was my favorite. Sunsets from the cabin gave us some really amazing pictures. Had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Project Manager stay working on Kanab Civic Center.

I rented this place for one of my employees managing the Civic Center project in Kanab. He said he had a great time here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and nicely furnished. He also stated that there is a lot of wildlife near the home to see. Throughly enjoyed the stay. Will stay again when in Kanab. Owner is super good to deal with.

Very nice cabin with a view and tranquility

This cabin has a great view and is nice and quiet. There are a few other rentals, etc. nearby, but it seemed like we were pretty alone. It is east of Kanab about 6 miles or so and the night sky was quite dark so we could see almost as many stars as you can in Bryce Canyon. The cabin has 2 almost identical bedrooms with a full bath each and a main room with kitchen/dining/couches and TV. The couches are comfortable and there is a thermostat controlled fireplace that we did not use since we were there in June. The beds are memory foam and gave a good night's sleep after hiking the national parks or kayaking Lake Powell. There is a fire pit as well but there was a fire ban in place so we did not use it. We were able to make all of our meals in the fully appointed kitchen and with the gas grill and the covered porch was a great place to sit and read. It is located in between Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon/Lake Powell and we went to them all. I suggest spending a day at Lone Rock beach/campground at Lake Powell where you can park right on the beach near the water and swim or kayak (sand is soft in places so don't get stuck). Overall, a really great place that we wouldn't hesitate to stay at again if we come back to the area.

Superb home!

Our stay was great! We had everything we needed and the location was very central for all our outings. We traveled to Bryce, Zion, and Page AZ. It was wonderful to come back to the house at night and cook or grill. We really enjoyed the covered patio and seating at night for sunsets. We also loved how quiet it was...easy sleeping after long days of hiking and climbing!

Comfortable Casita

My initial impression of the property was the cleanliness of the casita. It was nicely furnished and very comfortable. It was conveniently located a few miles from town in a quiet and safe area. I especially appreciated the fact that it was pet friendly, so that I could share it with a nightly "sleepover dog" from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. My security deposit was promptly refunded when I vacated the property and Larry, the property manager, was responsive when I had questions concerning the property. Very nice rental.
