„We had a fabulous February stay in the Castillo Villas during our Santa Barbara trip. We traveled with our high school daughter. We found the property very convenient to the downtown area and walked back and forth, even at night without concern. The Villas are located in a lovely quiet neighborhood. „We had a lovely stay at the home. The location is great - an easy walk to the beach or to shops/restaurants. The home is really beautiful but does have some quirks - to be expected perhaps with an older home. There is very poor water pressure in the upstairs bathroom, so everyone ended up showering in the first floor bathroom. The upstairs bed was quite firm. „We would have given 5stars if not for very small things which are easily changed. 5 stars assumes everything is perfect and no room for improvement. This property was 4.5 stars, very clean, comfortable but the bedrooms need bedside lamps on BOTH sides of the bed. Some of the cookware needs to be replaced as it’s broken. The staff were very attentive with check in etc but perhaps a few less emails or text messages would be preferable. Seemed like we got a check in message everyday for the week ...
