Our home is a newly renovated and professionally designed 3-bed, 1-bathroom (the bathroom has dual sinks) with an open concept layout. It was designed for comfort and style. The house offers a full kitchen with just about any utensil or appliance you can possibly think of.
The dining room has a beautiful table surrounded by artwork with seating for 6. We have a very fun couch with a 75" Samsung OLED TV, Sony Sonos speakers throughout, and plenty of seating. Each couch section acts like a seat when you want it, but flips back to act like a chaise when you want to be extra lazy.
Private side yard. There is grass in the yard with tropical plants, with a grill. There is an outdoor laundry area with a separate full washer and dryer. The front bedroom can also act as an office. It has a desk setup as a workstation with a printer, but has a Murphy bed for convenience that folds out to a very comfortable queen bed. Modern coastal Hawaiian-style furniture and decorations throughout.
We have many accessories for families, including lots of items most people need for a baby.

The Neighborhood:
Aside from being steps away from a more private and secluded part of Kailua beach you are still VERY close to downtown Kailua and the convenient Aikahi section of Kailua. You are also literally steps away from Kalama beach park. Kailua is a dream town. Anything you can think of or need is here. Many major branded grocery stores (Whole Foods, Safeway, Foodland, Target, Times) are all within less than a 5 minute drive from the house. In the same distance you will find 2 Starbucks, incredible local restaurants and staples like Island Snow. You can take a yoga class at Core Power Yoga, shop endlessly for yourself and people back home; really, anything you can think of is there for you. Rent a kayak from Kailua Beach Adventures down the street and kayak out to the Mokulua Islands or hike the Lanikai Pillbox Hike or SUP. Watch the sunset behind the mountains at the house and then hop in the car and drive to Honolulu to catch the "2nd" sunset over the water. If you time it right you can get two sunsets in one day!
Getting Around:
There is parking for during your stay. We also sometimes offer our cars for rent. We have a Red Tesla Model S for rent. The model S is a perfect size. There is a Tesla car charger on site. You can walk or bike to Kailua town very easily so you may find you don't need the car often with the exception of exploring the island. The shore break at the house makes it really fun to boogie board and just walk back for bathroom breaks. There are so many great hikes near the house and we are incredibly convenient to all major roads for exploration.
