Our 1 week stay at Kathmandu Suite Home was wonderful. Everyone was pleasant and went out of their way to take care of us. The daily breakfast had a variety of selections to please any appetite with dishes that were more local to dishes that would be familiar to folks from North America. They have a very nice espresso machine and the staff prepared lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso based drinks for breakfast. We had a room with a balcony, with a view of the "Monkey Temple" in the distance. We were always supplied with plenty of bottled water. and the daily room service kept the room spotless. The tour desk was outstanding and provided ample ideas for cultural tours of many Temples and Stupas. Arjune, our driver, was amazing in navigating the Kathmandu traffic. We also had a tour guide for 2 days. Both Arjune and our tour guide explained the Temples and culture in great detail. We made stops at local restaurants for traditional Nepalese meals and also for some Khuwa high in the hills above Kathmandu. The hotel is a very short walk from the Thamel district, but negotiating the intense Kathmandu traffic while walking is something that requires your full attention as we found few sidewalks and had to walk in the street, Not something you'd be doing in a larger American city, but quite normal in Kathmandu. We would definitely stay there again!

Gotta be straight with ya . . Perfect location . . smack in the middle of everything. The best deep tissue 90 minute massage in Nepal. , . I had it 2 two times with Ms.Pramila at their in house spa. Over the top great . . The second time was when I came off a 14 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp . . Ms. Pramila came in on her day off just for me . . Serious!! Ms. Aayusha on the front desk . . Was exceptional in all aspects . . Professional. Positive. Outgoing. Perfect English. Natural talent in making clients feel welcome and special. I will be back . . Hotel war gut, aber das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmte leider nicht. 120 Euro für Zwei Personen Pro Nacht ist für Nepal viel zu viel. Dafür muss ein außergewöhnliches Hotel geboten werden. Das war es trotz aller Bemühungen des Personals leider nicht.
