This condo was very clean and well-stocked. It felt like home away from home, and we had everything we needed.I hesitate to put this in the review because this was only possible since there wasn’t anyone checking in the same day we were checking out, but it really helped end our Maui vacation on a high note. Randy and Mary surprised us with a later check out time since we were taking a red eye. It was so much easier to entertain our young children at the resort than if we had to do it out of our car all day.Overall, we loved everything about our stay and would love to stay here again on our next Maui vacation. Randy and Mary are fantastic hosts and a wealth of information! P.S. That ocean view is even more beautiful in person.

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had with a vacation rental property. The hosts were very responsive and provided proactive information about Maui on things to do during our vacation and continued to provide recommendations while we were there! The condo is very well stocked with all essentials needed to make our vacation relaxing and worry free! You also have access to all resort amenities which is also a great bonus such as pool towels, fitness center, and more. When we come back to Maui, this will be the only place we stay at!

From the very beginning, communication was immediate and continued throughout our stay. Randy was great about sharing recommendations on places to visit and things to do. The Fish Market is definitely a must try. The place itself is beautiful and perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen and living room were perfect size and the lanai was one of our favorite spots with views of the ocean, trees, and wildlife. Opening the wall-to-wall lanai doors and hearing the birds chirping while feeling the island breeze was everything we hoped for.Another huge bonus is that they truly think of everything from beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, baby floaters, towel clips, and more are all provided so there’s no need worry about buying or renting anything.The staff on the property were amazing. Valet was friendly every day, even when they had to work during a pretty significant storm, and the maintenance crew worked incredibly hard to clean everything up while still greeting guests with a smile.The location is perfect as you can walk right onto the beach and it’s only a short walk to shops and restaurants.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay. Exactly what my husband and I we were looking for! This is a lovely property with all the amenities and wonderful hosts. The property was clean, very well maintained, and nicely decorated. The view of the water was truly spectacular from the lanai. The Kitchen was well stocked with supplies need to cook meals (incl. spices). We appreciated the starter pack of consumable supplies for our stay as well. The condo also had beach items for us to use such as chairs (with pouches), umbrellas, coolers, and the resort supplies as many pool/beach towels as you need. The hosts were very friendly and communicative, making sure to pass along any info needed for our trip tons of recommendations to help you get the most out of your visit. The property is family friendly and the condo is quiet. We never had an issue finding parking. It is right on the beach, where we saw a turtle from shore. We also took advantage of the Ho'ola Spa on site. All resort staff were very friendly and the bell desk held our grocery items for us when we arrived before check-in time. This is the second time we have stayed here and it’s was as beautiful as the first. Randy and Mary are exceptional hosts who put a lot of thought and care into making our stay great. The lay out of their home is perfect with views in the living area and bedroom that both lead out to a wonderful lanai. The beach is right in front of you to swim walk or just relax. Beach chairs were also there for our use. Loved our stay and we will be back!

Great Place

Randy’s place was so great to stay in. It was well equipped with all the necessary items. The unit was clean and inviting. The location is also a plus, nearby to a stores and food trucks. But what I really think sets their unit apart is the communication. Before my stay, Randy called me with so much great information that pertained to my stay. In addition to that, during my stay, I received many helpful emails regarding fun locations to visit or good food places to check out. The Maui Nuts condo was a perfect place to stay while enjoying the beauty and bounty of Maui. Randy and Mary are excellent hosts. The condo is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. Randy and Mary sent us so many recommendations that we will need to book another stay to get through them all! The bed was very comfortable; the condo was spacious and clean. 10/10 would recommend. Fantastic Maui Rental

This was probably the best furnished rental we have encountered! Beautiful, immaculate, fantastic large balcony, an abundance of bath towels for the entire week, spices, baggies, foil, laundry detergent, beach chairs, binoculars…. The list goes on & on! Well stocked kitchen with plenty of frying pans, glassware, good knives, etc.Communication from the moment we booked and all throughout our stay was amazing. Detailed instructions to check in were seamless, recommendations provided for everything from groceries, restaurants, activities were greatly appreciated.Maui Nuts even went above and beyond when we asked if there was any leeway in our arrival & departure times. We had a red eye departure flight and it was SO appreciated to be able to have the extra time in the condo. They were simply fantastic to work with!!!Highly recommend this condo. Our friend group went on a whale watching excursion that I unfortunately had to miss. I sat on the balcony with the binoculars and saw tons of breaches. It was mesmerizing. I saw more breaches from the condo than the group saw on the boat tour.The facility has plenty of chaises by numerous pools & hot tubs. Great Host! Amazing Condo!

Condo is everything that is described. The owners graciously provide the little thing that most other condo owners seem to not. I highly recommend this condo. We will be rebooking this room in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the condo.

Views, space, great amenities good value. Nice large space with everything you need for a short or long stay. Would definitely consider staying again if back in Maui. Thanks to Randy for all the tips.

Location, location, location Condo well apportioned Bootiful grounds and amenities Late checkout was an unexpected bonus which was nice since we are taking a red eye home

Great stay!

The unit was very clean and well appointed. It faces a small beach access road lined with trees and we enjoyed opening the doors in the morning to all the bird songs. The owners provide lots of great advice on things to do which we appreciated. The pools were great and we were always able to find open lounge chairs (November).

Long awaited vacation

We had talked about and planned to go to Hawaii for at least 10 years. Finally the time seemed right to go after losing both of my parents and both of our papillon dogs in less than a year. We needed something positive to look forward to and enjoy. Our stay at Randy and Mary's condo in Maui didn't disappoint. They were very helpful and informative which was much appreciated. The condo is beautiful and very comfortable. We felt right at home. The view from the lanai is amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunset on several evenings. I highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed. I hope that we get the chance to go back. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Unit

We love to stay at Honua Kai Resort. This unit was no disappointment and lived up to the listing. The view of the ocean from the lanai was spectacular. The room itself offers everything you need while on vacation. The owner of the unit Randy of Maui Nuts is easy to work with. When we return to Maui I'll be looking to rent this condo again.

Perfection in every way

My husband and I returned to Maui with our 9yo daughter to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. We were married right here on Maui so it was a very special trip. I was looking for a condo so we could have the convenience of a kitchen for breakfast/lunch but still had a resort vibe. This checked all the boxes with an onsite store (coffee shop), pools/waterslides, and Dukes restaurant. Our unit had a lovely view and everything we needed. I really liked the location on the property, quiet and easy access to elevators and the parking garage. The pull out couch worked fine for our 9 yo.The beach is calm, be sure to bring water shoes as there is rocks/coral in most places. We walked over to snorkel bond to rent gear, the food truck plaza and shaved ice. The grocery store is also walkable. The hosts provided lots of info and suggestions that helped decide places to go or eat. Overall our trip was just perfect in every way. Highly recommend

Awesome Trip

My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo. It was in the perfect location, clean and had everything we needed. The entire family enjoyed the pools, beach, and scenery. Randy was super awesome in sharing recommendations which helped us with our planning. We will definitely request this condo when we come back. Randy and Mary you’re amazing!
