The Space:

Step inside and the desert feels immediately connected to the home. Sunlight pours through a dramatic overhead skylight, illuminating polished concrete floors, warm oak finishes and carefully chosen contemporary furnishings. Expansive glass doors frame the landscape and create an effortless flow between the open living spaces and outdoors. The design feels sophisticated without being formal, with generous spaces for gathering and bedrooms thoughtfully positioned for privacy. Whether you're traveling with friends or bringing the family, there's room to spend time together and retreat to your own corner of the house.

The backyard is designed around the pool, where built-in loungers let you settle into the shallow water with the house's striking architecture as your backdrop. Stretch out in the sun, cool off between conversations, or move into the shade of the covered patio when it's time for a break.



A short path leads up to the heated hot tub, set on a rise overlooking the desert valley and surrounding mountains. It's a particularly lovely spot as the afternoon light softens and the mountains take on warmer colors.



Closer to the house, the covered outdoor lounge offers a comfortable place to gather around the fire pit, while the BBQ makes cooking outside an easy part of the day. With the pool just steps from the living spaces, it's easy to move between swimming, preparing dinner and relaxing together without ever feeling the need to leave the property.

The living room has the comfortable, collected feel of a beautifully designed boutique hotel. A generous curved sofa and sculptural lounge chairs invite everyone to settle in, while colorful contemporary artwork brings personality to the soft, neutral palette.



It's an inviting place to unwind after exploring Joshua Tree, share a bottle of wine with friends, or settle in for a movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen is as thoughtfully designed as the rest of the home, with warm oak cabinetry, beautiful slatted wood detailing and a dramatic black waterfall island. The fully equipped kitchen makes dining at home easy, with the island providing a natural gathering place while meals come together.



Just beyond, the dining table sits beside expansive sliding doors overlooking the desert. It's a lovely setting for everything from a casual breakfast to a long dinner with friends. Open the doors to let the outdoors become part of the gathering, or take dinner outside to enjoy the patio and evening air.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The Vault has three bedrooms with two king beds and one bunk bed, along with two full bathrooms and an additional half bath. The layout gives guests a comfortable balance of shared space and personal privacy.



The primary bedroom occupies the far right side of the home, tucked away from the main gathering areas. A king bed faces the mountains, while a built-in oak headboard, bedside sconces and understated furnishings create a calm, inviting atmosphere. Sliding glass doors open onto the patio, making it easy to step outside and enjoy the morning light. A writing desk offers a convenient place to catch up on a few things when needed.



At the opposite end of the home, the second king bedroom offers a peaceful retreat beneath a clerestory window, with clean architectural lines and a soft, neutral palette.



The bunk room adds a playful touch that's especially appealing for younger guests. A low bunk bed, colorful geometric wall details and sliding doors opening toward the pool give the room its own personality while keeping it connected to the outdoor fun.



The two full bathrooms feature walk-in showers and contemporary finishes, including warm oak cabinetry and distinctive tilework. The second king bedroom and bunk room share one of the full bathrooms, while a convenient half bath is located off the dining area. Quality towels, shampoo and conditioner are provided for your stay.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Other Things to Note:

-House-Specific Rules-

► Please keep music at a reasonable volume and turn it off by the start of quiet hours.

► Please rinse off before and after using the hot tub, and keep the lid on when it is not in use to keep out dirt and hold the heat. Absolutely no glass by any water. Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time.



-Pool Heating-

Pool heating is not available at this property.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

For your security, there are exterior cameras on the property, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.
