„Loved the property. Should offer cook to order breakfast. My eggs and bacon were cold by the time I got from the buffet to the table. Most buffet breakfast have someone to cook your legs to order. That was my only complaint. Staff was great. “

„Could not recommend this house enough for a vacation. The house itself is in great condition, was very clean and came with more items than a majority of VRBO houses we’ve stayed in (I.e. didn’t have to spend money on trash bag, PT, Etc.). „This little mountain cabin was the perfect fit for me, my husband, and our dog. It was nice and clean when we arrived. The parking under the awning is a little tight, but we were able to fit our full size pickup under there and open all the doors just fine. The living area is very cozy, and the sofas are super comfortable. 4 dog blankets are provided to cover the sofas so your dog can sit up there with you. „Everything was absolutely amazing. The host kept in contact the entire time and even answered all of my random questions as this was my first time ever renting outside of a hotel. The drive up the mountain for me was a little scary because I never done that before but the view was well worth the drive. The condo itself was cozy and welcoming and I even got to take a dip in the pool. Go 'Neers!!!“

„I went away with an "It was OK" experience. Hotel, though nice, was very dated. The restaurant was ok but very loud. The staff were vwry pleasant and helpful. For the price would I.do.it again? Probably not. To be fair they had a number.of activities associated with the hotel we didnt use becauae of our short stay. Perhaps a longer stay and utilizing some of the things they offer would justify the cost.“

I had higher expectations...

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
