„We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. „This was hands-down our favorite mountain stay in PA! Bruce has done such a nice job with the treehouse. It envelopes you in peace and tranquility to allow your stress to drift its way down the river. We look forward to returning to fish off the dock, take a canoe or kayak out for an adventure, grill on the deck overlooking the river, make s’mores around the campfire and just relax in the hot tub. „This is our second time at this cabin, and both times the stay was amazing! Cabin is as described. Sitting on the porch we saw deer and turkey. „This was our third year staying at Drooly Bear and we will be back! Close to Lake Raystown and Trough Creek State Park. Great for family get together. Whole family loves it.“

„The interior appears to be newly remodeled and very comfortable. The towels and linens were very nice, not the typical paper-thin materials you sometimes find. Amenities such as paper towels, toilet paper, bathroom sprays etc., made it very easy to move in and begin to enjoy the house quickly. The pool and hot tub outside were very nice as well. Great stay for us. “
