„Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und sauber. Das wifi war erst Katastrophal und als ich mich beschwert habe, wurde es auf die Telekom vor Ort geschoben. Jedoch war es dann plötzlich seit diesem Abend um Welten besser ;) Das Frühstück war auch lecker, jedoch wurden leere Platten nicht nachgefüllt. Schade ist, dass die Mentalität der Menschen so über den dreck in Öffentlichkeit hinwegsieht. „This place hasn’t been touched since the mid 1980s - thick dust and cobwebs everywhere, and the entire property smells like it hasn’t seen fresh air for decades, including the room. I would encourage any tourists to avoid Sandakan in general, as there’s nothing to do, and just base yourself in Sepilok. If you have to stay in Sandakan, only stay here as a last resort.“

„For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge!
