„Es ist herrlich gelegen absolut ruhig bis auf die Grillen und Vögel. Die KĂŒche ist etwas zu klein aber es ist fast alles machbar. Die Einrichtung ist schön aber hier und da könnte mal was ausgetauscht werden oder alte Sachen aus den SchrĂ€nken entsorgt werden. Die AnsprĂŒche an Sauberkeit sollten nicht zu hoch sein in so einer WaldhĂŒtte aber ab und an dĂŒrften alle Möbel mal weggerĂŒckt werden und eine Grundreinigung gemacht werden. Uns hat es trotzdem gefallen vor allem auch der Billardtisch. ...

„Absolutely one of the nicest places I have stayed!Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Beautiful views all day overlooking the creek. „We had an amazing time!! Hosts were incredibly responsive, the place was stocked with beyond anything we could have needed. Access to kayaks and paddle boards was special and so fun to be directly on the water. Our dog was also incredibly happy with all the exploring and swimming she got to enjoy. This place is a gem!“

„The location was amazing. The views all around the property were gorgeous. We had a family reunion and it accomodated all of us very well. Some of our family came for the day and some stayed overnight. We crabbed from the dock. The host kept kept the pool open for us in case anyone wanted to swim. There were a lot of mosquitoes but that is common for the area due to the marsh. We were able to enjoy the screened in porch around the pool. Some of our group enjoyed the use of the kayaks. „The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. „Our family stayed for a week at this amazing secluded property. We have stayed at many rentals up and down the Eastern Shore as well as the Outer Banks and this was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. The location was quiet and peaceful and the dock and screened in porch were where we spent most of our time. The screened in porch was a great spot to relax, eat meals, and play board games. „Our stay was amazing. The cabin was exactly as described. 9 family member stayed at the cabin comfortably. The view of the lake was breathtaking, the property was quiet and inviting with plenty of space for celebrating. We came to attend the Crab and Cruise experience which was a short drive from tge property. The surrounding city was quaint and friendly.“

„This was our first visit to Smith Island and the Double H was perfect. It was close to the ferry landing so getting there was very easy. The house was well appointed and felt like home as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the quiet of the island and we were able to fully disconnect and relax Thank you for a great day.“

„The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. The Pearl had everything we needed with comfortable accommodations given the relative seclusion of the island. Leigh and Chris were extremely responsive.“
