„Es ist herrlich gelegen absolut ruhig bis auf die Grillen und Vögel. Die Küche ist etwas zu klein aber es ist fast alles machbar. Die Einrichtung ist schön aber hier und da könnte mal was ausgetauscht werden oder alte Sachen aus den Schränken entsorgt werden. Die Ansprüche an Sauberkeit sollten nicht zu hoch sein in so einer Waldhütte aber ab und an dürften alle Möbel mal weggerückt werden und eine Grundreinigung gemacht werden. Uns hat es trotzdem gefallen vor allem auch der Billardtisch. ...

„The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. The Pearl had everything we needed with comfortable accommodations given the relative seclusion of the island. Leigh and Chris were extremely responsive.“

The house is lovely— spotless, airy and spacious, and it is apparent that the hosts, Pam and Dan, want guests to feel at home. Every creature comfort one can think of is provided, and then some. „We absolutely loved our stay on Smith island in this adorable cottage. Laura the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. We will definitely be back!“

„The property is beautiful and every space is very spacious and comfortably appointed. It is isolated but at the same time very close to Walmart and Food Lion, and just 15 minutes away from Wallops, and 30 from Chincoteague. The kitchen was extremely well supplied, including cooking oil, salt and other conveniences that we have seldom found in rentals (we had actually brought our own). „The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again.
