THE VILLA
Villa Larga is a fully gated private compound designed so that the pool, bedrooms and living spaces flow into one another. The open-plan living and dining area connects directly to the pool and the bedroom wing, and the whole house is air-conditioned.

The layout works for every kind of group. Parents can take the upstairs primary suite with the kids next door in the connected twin room — a private wing of their own. The three main-floor bedrooms each have their own ensuite bathroom, and one has a small kitchenette for guests who want their own setup.

A rental car is strongly recommended. Curaçao rewards exploration and the tropical heat makes even short distances feel longer on foot. With your own wheels the whole island opens up. Willemstad is a short drive away, the west-end beaches are worth the drive and everything in between is yours to discover. We're happy to recommend a rental company or provide numbers for private drivers.

NOTABLE DETAILS: ENERGY TRANSPARENCY
Villa Larga includes 40 kWh of electricity per night in the nightly rate. Usage is metered at the start and end of your stay, and anything above the included amount is billed at $0.50 per kWh and settled after checkout. Guests who exceed the allowance typically spend around $30–$35 per night extra. Curaçao's trade winds keep the villa comfortable during the day. Using air conditioning mainly at night, with doors and windows closed, helps keep usage down. We share this upfront because we'd rather you know before you book.

- A $500 security deposit (where applicable) is held on your credit card before arrival and released after check-out if no charges apply.
- For stays of 7 nights or more, we recommend a mid-stay clean. Curaçao's heat and humidity are part of its charm, but they're hard on a home: towels and linens lose their freshness quickly, and even small crumbs can draw in the island's ever-curious ants. A mid-stay clean includes laundering all sheets and towels and a full clean of the home, so it feels like day one again. It's $375, which simply covers our cost, and we'll find a time that suits your plans. Additional cleans can be arranged at any point during your stay at the same rate. Just ask.
