„We loved our stay at Le Mentok resort. Stayed there for 4 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. It is an ideal property if one is looking for a relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of the town and main markets. „The food was fantastic. Zagmo and the kitchen staff turned out excellent food. The India food was much better than any Indian Restaurant we know on Vancouver Island, and the kitchen staff was able to make excellent Western style breakfasts when we wanted them. All of the staff were great, from the front desk to the porters. Even if I were to stay in a less expensive hotel in Hunder, I would definitely come to this hotel just for the meals!“

„Our room was large and very comfortably furnished, with a large attached bath. Hot water was available whenever electricity was available. Any visitors to Nubra Valley should be aware that electricity services can be erratic in the valley, but we found it was better in Turtuk than in Diskit.“

„The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah.
