We had a wonderful stay at Chicken Ranch Casino Resort. Everything still looks and feels new and our room was excellent! They have a few kinks to work out still, but everything was great for the most part.
Pros: We stayed in the Chic-Chateau Suite. Our room was fantastic and full of great features. Everything you could ask for in a suite including soaking tub, large stand up shower, two TVs (one lifts up out of a stand in the bedroom), motorized drapes, kitchenette, Nespresso machine, wrap around deck, 2 full walls of windows, 1.5 baths and more. It was filled with anything you would need and they thought of everything. Also, the casino was fun. No big wins, but fun.
Cons: Our room was EXTREMELY noisy. We were in room 749. With the wrap around full wall of windows, there was nothing to dampen the constant noise of construction machines beeping outside. The landscaping/construction depot is right outside the windows and every morning I was woke up by the beeping of machines backing up and sounds of the equipment. At night it should have been quiet, but then one night the power went out and the resort generators were also right outside our window. The roar from those was heard from 8pm to about 5am the next morning. They also need to work on their pest control. We had to kill at least 3-4 bugs a day in our room. Lastly, half the restaurants in the resort are closed half of the week. We couldn't go to either of the places we wanted because they were closed our entire stay.
