Discover coastal Amelia Island, renowned for its award-wining beaches and charming small-town atmosphere. Southern charm coupled with modern North Florida barrier-island living. Among the towering oaks you’ll find this spacious 4 bedroom / 2.5 bath home featuring an indoor fireplace, outside fire pit, outside shower for those sandy beach days, Southern porch with rocking chairs and swing, spacious yard, boat/trailer parking and is 1.5 miles away from the beach. Surrounded by water, this 14x3 mile island is home to a plethora of activities including kayaking, fishing (back water/deep sea), surfing, shark tooth hunting, bird watching, photography, dining and more. A relaxing beach getaway or an exciting destination. As the only location in the US ever under the rule of 8 Flags, our island has been home to Pirates and the Prominent. Historic American Beach sits nestled in the dunes on the Southern End as home of the 1st African American Millionaire is the States, Mr A.L. Lewis. Just 1 mile north, accessible only by boat, the picturesque Cumberland Island features homes of the late Carnegie and Rockefeller Families. Property is on a dead end street so very quiet. Owner was very accommodating and house was clean and well stocked. Only negative is the house is on well water so it has that sulphur smell when showering or using faucets. Overall very pleased.

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and looked just like the pictures. Check-in was easy, and the host was very responsive. We did run into an issue with the HVAC unit beeping and the AC not working properly, but the host quickly addressed it and had someone come out to fix it. Overall, the house is comfortable and spacious—perfect for a small family. Great location too!

This house was just right for our family including 2 adult children and their spouses. My parents live nearby at an independent living facility and we were able to go back and forth while also having the comfort of a home. The host even welcomed us with a bottle of wine which was much appreciated!

Very clean and spacious, great yard space if you have young ones that need to run. Only a half bath on main, which is not a problem if everyone in your party can manage stairs. Host was very responsive to any questions.

We rented this house so we could visit Amelia Island during the Dickens on Centre festival. Our family enjoyed the house amenities and it was close to all the things we wanted to do downtown. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we sent messages. They stocked the kitchen with plenty of Keurig K-Cups for morning coffee and paper products throughout the house were all well stocked. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Such a cute, warm and inviting space! Felt like being home. Plenty of necessities on hand like bath tissue, paper towels, etc along with spices, kitchen utensils, cookware, extra linens and more. We stayed at the property for Thanksgiving and it had the perfect kitchen and dining room for cooking and family time! The host is very responsive! Would definitely recommend for others with large families looking for a comfortable getaway.

The gas stove did not work the first night, because there wasn't any gas for it We bought a new propane cylinder so we could cook. We also had to buy 6 fans to keep the downstairs cool because the a/c wasn't cooling the house properly

This rental was accurately described, nice assortment of cookware and spices in the cabinet. Linens and towels were provided. Communication was fast and courteous. We arrived post Hurricane Debby - so we had some issues with ants. The Cason’s were over quickly to spray and take care of the problem.

We are older siblings, who rented the house to celebrate our sister‘s birthday. This house was perfect for our get together! Plenty of space, very well maintained, and everything worked perfectly! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rockers, reading and talking under the ceiling fans. Plenty of shade from huge oak trees and a quiet neighborhood for walking. I can’t say enough good things about this house and the owners were so accommodating and kind. I would highly recommend it and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cason House. We were there for a wedding that was in Callahan. The location was perfect for us and close to everything in the Amelia Island area. We arrived three days before the wedding so we could explore the area. We had six people in our party and the house was very comfortable for all of us, including my 94 year old dad. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch having coffee every morning. Privacy was good as the house is the last one on a dead end street.
