„My husband and I enjoyed the dock, played music, had nice furniture to sunbathe and relax, also great for looking at stars, we used the kayaks and floats, easy water access for swimming and using water toys. There home is very cozy, easy to relax. Close to the Downtown area for dining and shopping. We will bereturning next summer“

„Cute little summer cottage. We rented a boat,so it was very convenient to tie up using the owner’s dock. For runners and walkers, although Myrick Estates Rd is 55mph,there is little traffic and a wideshoulder, so once you get past that small stretch, it’s a nice walk or run through Myrick Estates and Mistipines neighborhood which are also on the lake. We enjoyed fishing on the dock too. Lots of time spent outdoors which was exactly what we were looking for. We cooked all of our meals at home and ...

„The house was excellent the grounds water access were very good. It was a very enjoyable week even the weather contributes to an enjoyable time on the lake. It was peaceful we seas several bald eagles/ countless geese and ducks flying in and we enjoyed the lake since my Son brought his boat and was able to get around the lake. We would be interested in renting again same time next year, maybe extended stay.“

„What a great setting for a multigenerational family gathering! The home was clean and exceedingly well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. The dock sits on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and has cleats to tie a rented boat for longer journeys out to the main lake. Game room and lower level rec room provided variety for evening intertainment. Highly recommend!“

„Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again.“

„The property is huge and gorgeous. We all loved the location, lake access and the pool, which is big. Accessing the thermostats is difficult and the house was a little cool for us. Also, the hot tub needed chemicals. Other than that, the place is a 10 and the host was wonderful. Would definitely revisit again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. “

„Great house and location. We loved our stay. The cove is the perfect place to float on a hot summer day. Be sure to bring your floats. We rented a boat for the week and had no trouble docking it at the pier. The house is well stocked. Check in was a breeze. Hot tub was a treat. The neighbors are super nice and the owners were great communicators. Would definitely recommend the house! “
