The room we booked and prepaid through hotels.com was not available upon arrival, and no alternative option was provided. We were only informed on the day we arrived. Ultimately, we were relocated to a cheaper hotel, but the price difference was not reimbursed. Both the hotel and hotels.com blamed each other, with neither offering any meaningful support. Mistakes can happen, but what truly matters is how they’re handled. In this case, the lack of proper resolution was deeply disappointing. Proceed with caution.
