However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living ...

„Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture ...

„Perfect accommodation for a family of four. Children had their own room and bathroom. Ample room to eat and chill. Immaculately clean and onsite parking. Well maintained. Would definitely recommend. “

„Ideal holiday accommodation for family with satisfying facilities. The seaside view of dinning and living room are wonderful. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is also perfect if you just want to stavocation in the South of the Isle of Man. The broadband speed is the only frustrating thing for me since it's not fast and stable. The local bus service is good but it may take a longer time to wait for steam train if you plan to travel o the North within a day. “

„Angenehmes Ambiente, gute und zweckmässige Ausstattung. Erstausrüstung mit Lebensmitteln sehr willkommen und sympatisch. Einen Aussengrill zu haben wäre schön gewesen. Gesamte Anlage und Inventar sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Pfannen komplett unbrauchbar, uralt und wirken dadurch unsauber. Teppichböden teilweise fleckig und erscheinen schmudelig. Bei einer Toilette war die Spülung defekt, deshalb nicht benützbar. Trotzdem haben wir uns dort alles in allem wohlgefühlt.“

"We had a wonderful stay in the Halvard hotel. The staff were welcoming, and accommodating for our requests. Our room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the sea and the promenade. The breakfast was excellent, with good options for hot breakfast that's freshly prepared and a small buffet. The location of the hotel is great, being less than 10 min walk from the ferry passenger terminal, on the sea front and downtown area, and in walking distance to the bus station. We loved our stay here, it was the highlight of our trip! Thanks to the Halvard hotel team :)"
