„Maggies is set in a beautiful location with stunning views. A few chickens roaming around and a little Robin that came every morning to sit on the fence. Phil & Fliss are the perfect hosts. Maggies is the perfect place to relax and explore the island from Perfect tranquility. We absolutely loved it.“

„A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour.“

„Angenehmes Ambiente, gute und zweckmässige Ausstattung. Erstausrüstung mit Lebensmitteln sehr willkommen und sympatisch. Einen Aussengrill zu haben wäre schön gewesen. Gesamte Anlage und Inventar sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Pfannen komplett unbrauchbar, uralt und wirken dadurch unsauber. Teppichböden teilweise fleckig und erscheinen schmudelig. Bei einer Toilette war die Spülung defekt, deshalb nicht benützbar. Trotzdem haben wir uns dort alles in allem wohlgefühlt.“

„We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. “

„Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living ...

„Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture ...
